If any area of your home has begun to look like an episode of Hoarders, a good house cleaning and organization session is in order before you put it up for sale. Buyers want to see themselves in the home, something that is hard to do with all your clutter. Rent a storage unit to move some stuff out, or better yet, give or throw away anything you have not used in the past year (within reason).
